The default session is 90 minutes and you may choose 60. The price per hour is identical either way; we never charge more per hour for a shorter session, because that reads as a penalty. Packages are sold in hours rather than in lessons, so ten hours is unambiguous whichever session length you run.

One session a week through term is the shape that works for most families, with a second session added in the weeks before an examination. Twenty hours is a full school term at one session a week; ten is roughly a half-term; five is a short push before one test. Distinction at CHF 130 is not a harder tier — it is our most accomplished tutors, and it is elected by the family rather than triggered by the syllabus. A family doing Standard Level may elect it; a family doing Higher Level need not.
