If you want group conversation classes or a Cambridge certificate for its own sake, a language school is honestly the better buy.

A fluent student who describes what a text says, rather than arguing about what the writer is doing and why, will sit at a 5 indefinitely however much they read. The fix is short: understand the rubric in plain words, write one essay, have it marked hard against that rubric, and rewrite it once. No, and you should be wary of anyone who offers to. We work on the structure, the argument, the criteria and the technique, and the writing stays your child's own. Every school in Zug runs an academic-honesty policy, and the IB in particular treats authenticity as a condition of the Diploma — a ghost-written HL Essay puts the whole qualification at risk, not just the grade. Marking hard against the rubric is more useful anyway, and it is what actually transfers to the exam hall.

Twelve months from the day you buy it. Inside that, a shorter clock protects the rate you paid — one month on a 5-hour package, two on a 10-hour, three on a 20-hour — and it pauses over canton Zug's school holidays. When the rate window closes nothing is taken: the hours you have had are recalculated at the standard rate and the balance stays on your account for the rest of the year. You get an unprompted reminder at nine months and again at eleven.
