Four quick questions. We come back with a named tutor who has taught that syllabus, usually within 48 to 72 hours.
Before you book
If yours is not here, send it on WhatsApp — you will get a person, not a form.
Usually within 48 to 72 hours. In that time we find a tutor who has actually taught your child's syllabus, rather than sending you the first person who is free, and we come back with their name, their background and times that fit around your week. It is often faster — but we would rather beat the estimate than miss it.
No. Choose Talk to an Adviser and nothing is charged and nothing is booked — you see who we are proposing first, then decide. Choose Start straight away and you buy your hours now, which is the faster route to a first lesson.
CHF 85, CHF 95 or CHF 130 per 60 minutes, decided by your child's age and the level of the work. A prepaid package brings that down: ten Specialist hours are CHF 810, which is CHF 81 an hour, and you save CHF 140.
Every figure is one all-in amount in Swiss francs and it is the same amount on your receipt. There is no registration fee, no admin fee, no travel surcharge and no minimum term. See every package price.
Two things decide it: your child's age and the complexity of the work. A learner aged 10 or under is Foundation at CHF 85. From age 11, a school subject is Specialist at CHF 95. The most demanding work — IB Higher Level, advanced Matura, competitive university admissions — is Distinction at CHF 130. True-beginner German or French is Foundation at any age, including for adults.
You choose, and we offer both. We refund the whole package to your card, including the lesson already taken — or we assign a different tutor and put that hour back on your package, so nothing is lost. You will not have to argue for either one.
A full year from the day you buy it. Inside that, a shorter window holds the rate you paid — one month on a 5-hour package, two on a 10-hour, three on a 20-hour — and it pauses over your canton's school holidays.
When that window closes nothing is taken from you: the hours you have had are recalculated at the standard rate and the balance stays on your account for the rest of the year. We remind you at nine months and again at eleven, and you can ask for one free one-month extension.
Yes, free until 17:00 the day before. A session cancelled or rescheduled before that cut-off is not deducted from your package. Hours stay with you rather than with a particular tutor, so reassignment is free at any point.
No — the price is identical. A lesson at your kitchen table in Geneva and a lesson online cost exactly the same, anywhere in Switzerland. Some Swiss providers add CHF 30 to CHF 45 an hour for face-to-face tuition; we do not, because you should not pay for a tutor's commute.
The default session is 90 minutes and you may choose 60. An hour with us is 60 full minutes, not the 45-minute Lektion quoted elsewhere in Switzerland. Packages are sold in hours rather than lessons, so ten hours is ten hours however you split them.
Still deciding
CHF 85, 95 or 130 per 60 minutes depending on the age of the learner and the level of the work. Prepaid packages bring that down — ten Specialist hours are CHF 810, which is CHF 81 an hour. Nothing is added at checkout.
